This Chennai Rotaract Club will help send your anonymous 'Thank You' messages to loved ones
When was the last time you said thanks to someone? I accept many of us forget to say it at that moment or you feel awkward about saying it, but later feel guilty for the same. If you are one such person, then head straight to the Rotaract Club of Hindustan University, find their google form and type your message. The fun part is, the message will remain anonymous. Let the recipient experience the joy of getting a beautiful message from a stranger.
Talking about this event, professional service director of Rotaract Club of Hindustan University, Rtr Albinus Sanjeevan D says."We hardly thank people. Also, only a few of us know that Thanksgiving Day is being celebrated in a few countries. In most of those places, it is a national holiday too," he exclaims.
Discussing their game plan, the youngster says that the recipients would get the messages latest by Thursday (November 28) afternoon. "The messages are taken from the Google forms and are designed as postcards using photoshop. The messages will be scheduled and the recipients will start receiving it from midnight on Thursday," he adds. As of now, the team has received about 650 messages in the past three days. The Google forms are open till Wednesday 11:59 pm.

When he spoke about scheduling the messages, how they reach out to people who don't use any social media, we wondered. They have a solution for that too. "We received a message from a person in Andhra and he said his recipient does not use a smartphone. Hence, we are planning to deliver his message to the recipient via speed post or courier." added the 18-year-old.
The team, which comes under Rotaract International District 3232, expects to receive 3000 messages. Several groups from other colleges have also come forward to make this event a memorable one.
