VCI NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment 2026 on August 25: Steps to accept seat

The VCI counselling for B.V.Sc. & A.H. admissions under the 15% All India Quota is being conducted in three stages

The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) is set to announce the Round 1 seat allotment result for NEET UG 2026 veterinary counselling on August 25, 2026. Candidates who participated in the counselling process for admission to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme under the 15% VCI All India Quota will be able to check their allotment through the official counselling portal at vci.admissions.nic.in.

The VCI is using the NEET UG 2026 merit list for filling 15% of seats in recognised veterinary colleges across India.

How to accept VCI NEET UG Round 1 seat 2026?

Candidates who are allotted a seat can follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official VCI counselling website — vci.admissions.nic.in.

Step 2: Log in to the candidate portal using the credentials used during registration.

Step 3: Click on the seat allotment result link and check the allotted veterinary college.

Step 4: Download the provisional allotment letter. You can check the allocation through the RESULT link and download the provisional allotment letter if a seat has been allotted.

Step 5: Report to the allotted Veterinary College/University within the specified reporting period.

Step 6: Carry the required original documents along with self-attested copies for verification.

Step 7: Complete the admission formalities and pay the applicable college/university fees as instructed by the allotted institution.

Documents required for VCI NEET UG 2026 admission

Candidates should carry the following documents in original along with self-attested copies:

  • NEET UG 2026 admit card

  • NEET UG 2026 rank card issued by NTA

  • Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Ration Card, Passport, PAN or the identity document provided in the NEET application

  • Date of Birth certificate

  • Class 10+2 marksheet

  • Class 10+2 certificate/provisional certificate

  • Character certificate from the last school/college attended

  • Six passport-size and one postcard-size colour photographs

  • OCI/PIO card, wherever applicable

  • AIU equivalency certificate for candidates educated abroad

Candidates claiming reservation must also carry the relevant SC/ST, OBC or EWS certificates, while PwD candidates must produce a valid UDID card.
