TN Directorate of Medical Education allots 384 MBBS, BDS seats on Thursday

The counselling began with 859 MBBS seats in government medical colleges and 945 in self-financing medical colleges

The Selection Committee of Directorate of Medical Education allotted a total 384 MBBS and BDS seats at the ongoing medical admissions counselling on Thursday.

According to the Selection Committee data, 472 people were called for the counselling on the day, among them 453 attended the counselling. Among them 148 MBBS seats in government medical colleges and 217 in self financing medical colleges were allotted. The Selection Committee also allotted 19 BDS seats in Government dental colleges.

On the day 67 students were waitlisted. The counselling began with 859 MBBS seats in government medical colleges and 945 in self-financing medical colleges. Meanwhile, it began with 146 BDS seats in government dental colleges and 985 in self-financing medical colleges.The counselling on Friday will commence with a total 1,439 MBBS and 1,112 BDS seats.
