It would be an exceptional case if a woman claimed that she has never been catcalled in her life. Therefore, when 20-year-old Noa Jansma, a design student in Amsterdam, was eve-teased, it was nothing out of the ordinary.

But how she decided to the never-ending eve-teasing and catcalls is something that got her many applauds, apart from a few misogynists comments. Here is what she did — she took one month out and decided to take selfies with the men who have catcalled her, made an Instagram page out of it and, bang on, she got ample of support and created waves of awareness. 

In her introduction post on the Insta page @dearcatcallers, that has over 342K followers, Noa has made it clear that "this is not something to be proud of".  The post reads, "This Instagram page aims to create awareness about the objectification of women in daily life." 

According to her Instagram posts, this is not only a part of her college art project but also a personal drive to show that being eve-teased is a recurring and a global problem.
