Rajasthan to recruit 24,752 contractual sanitation workers; online applications to open August 15

Jaipur: The Rajasthan government will recruit 24,000 sanitation workers on a contractual basis in urban local bodies, an official statement said on Monday.

According to orders issued by the Department of Local Self Government, online applications will be invited between August 15 and September 28.

The recruitment drive, comprising 24,752 posts, is aimed at bolstering urban cleanliness and supporting the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission, the statement said.

Officials said the recruitment will be conducted as per the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules and amended provisions.

According to eligibility, candidates must be domiciles of Rajasthan and aged between 21 and 40 as on January 1, 2027.

No minimum educational qualification has been prescribed for the post.

Candidates from reserved categories will get age relaxation.

Applicants must have at least one year of experience, continuous or cumulative, in sanitation work in any urban local body in the state.
