Patna, Jul 10 (PTI) A court here on Friday deferred till July 13 its order on the anticipatory bail plea of educator Faisal Khan, popularly known as 'Khan Sir', in the coaching institute firing case, citing that the district judge was on leave.

On Wednesday, it reserved the order after hearing final arguments from both sides.

The case relates to a firing incident that occurred in early June after a group of miscreants allegedly vandalised Khan's coaching institute. His security guards are accused of opening fire during the incident.

"The District Judge was on leave, so the order could not be pronounced today. It has been deferred till Monday," Khan's counsel Arvind Kumar Mouar told PTI.

He said that the educator's interim protection against coercive action is applicable until the order is pronounced.

Apart from Khan sir's anticipatory bail plea, the court had reserved its order on Wednesday regarding the regular bail plea of his two security guards and the anticipatory bail plea of three other staff members of his coaching institute.
