Bharathiar University has extended the last date for submission of applications for the postgraduate degree and postgraduate diploma courses offered by its departments.

While the last date to submit filled-in applications for admissions after entrance tests are May 31, it is June 22 for direct admissions, the university said.

Details of the courses being offered, along with fees, scholarships, duration, hostel facilities, etc, are available on the university website www.b-u.ac.in. Application forms and the prospectus can also be downloaded from the website.

The application fee is Rs 200 for SC/ST candidates, who must present a copy of the community certificate. It is Rs 400 for other candidates. The fees should be sent as DD while submitting the filled-in application form to the head of the department concerned. Candidates appearing for final year/semester examinations of undergraduate degree courses can also apply, it said.

Admission to MBA/MCA degree courses will be made through centralised counselling by the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, it added.
