APTRANSCO warns job seekers against fake recruitment notifications

Corporation says no recruitment notice has been issued yet and advises aspirants to rely only on official announcements and its website

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation Limited has clarified that no recruitment notification has been issued for jobs in the corporation and warned unemployed youth against fake advertisements circulating on social media.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Joint Managing Director, Vigilance and Security, APTRANSCO, said false information regarding recruitment notifications for various posts was being widely shared through WhatsApp, Facebook, and other media platforms.

The corporation urged job aspirants and the public not to believe such misleading campaigns. “Notifications for filling vacancies in APTRANSCO would be issued shortly through authorised channels and will be published only in leading newspapers and on the official website, aptransco.gov.in,” it clarified.

Further, the candidates were cautioned against falling victim to fake job advertisements and fraudulent claims circulating online.

The corporation stated that an inquiry would be conducted to identify those responsible for spreading the fake notifications and legal action would be initiated against them.
