Karnataka Education Department to send PUC-1 results directly to parents' mobile on May 5

EdexLive Desk

With the COVID-19 outbreak and the number of cases increasing every day across Karnataka, the Education Department has decided to send the first year Pre-University Examination results directly to the students or parents mobile phones via SMS on May 5. These exams were conducted in February and March.

The department has released a circular in which they have mentioned not to display these results on the college notice boards. This is to avoid the gathering of people or spreading of COVID-19 disease. Hence, the registered mobile number of students with the respective college will be receiving these results.

The circular also mentions that students who have failed in the exams can attend supplementary exams conducted at the college level and these exam dates will be also sent on their mobile numbers. The colleges can start the online classes for students who have passed their exams and are eligible to attend PUC-2 classes.
