Forcing female students to ask for sanitary napkins from him alone and not anyone else, landed the headmaster of Zilla Parishad High School in Boduppal in trouble after some students accused the principal of misbehaviour.

The headmaster allegedly passed lewd comments, made indecent gestures and even touched the girls. The whole issue was unearthed after the students along with their parents approached an NGO, Balala Hakkula Sangham, and shared their ordeal with them, who in turn informed the Rachakonda She Teams.

"The headmaster, Venkat Reddy, would touch the girls inappropriately on the pretext of beating them. The girls also narrated that on a few occasions he even asked them to sleep with him. We demand the immediate suspension of this person," noted Achyuta Rao, of Balala Hakkula Sangham.

On being tipped off, the She teams arrived and took their testimonies and encouraged the victims and their parents to file a formal complaint. The police officials noted that they have received a written complaint. No FIR has been registered yet.
