Abhimanyu Murder: Police arrests the Kerala state secretary of Campus Front

Police have arrested one of the key accused in connection with the murder of Abhimanyu, who was a student of Maharajas College Ernakulam and SFI activist. Police arrested Mohammed Rifa, who hails from Thalassery in Kannur, from Bangalore. He is a law student in Kochi and the state secretary of Campus Front.

With this, the total number of arrests in the case has become 15. Of this, at least four are accused of being directly involved in the murder.

Earlier, Saneesh, 28, a native of Palluruthy, who is a member of the trade union of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) was taken into custody based on the statements collected from Fort Kochi native Riyas, an accused in the case.
