The XII Inter Dental  Academic Competition - Prize Examination in Pharmacology for Dental Colleges of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry was held on June 10, 2017, at SRM Dental College, Ramapuram, Chennai. Vice Principal and Clinical Society Chairman, Dr Rajkumar, MDS, inaugurated the function along with the Dean - Academics, Dr Saravanan, PhD. Around 100 students participated from 16 dental colleges of Tamil Nadu and  Puducherry. 

SRM  Dental College, Ramapuram is the only college conducting Inter Dental Academic Competition - Prize Examination in Pharmacology for Dental Colleges of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The three-hour-long examination consisted of 100 objective questions from Pharmacology. The answer papers were evaluated and prizes were awarded on the same day. A participation certificate was given to all candidates. Students gained experience, exposure, and confidence to face university examinations and is a stepping stone for national and international competitive examinations.

The first and the second prize was won by V Kayalvizhi and S Sugapriya of R V S Dental College, Coimbatore.
