Medical Education Department of Uttar Pradesh is yet to release the admission schedule for UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 for MBBS and BDS admission. The last date to register for counselling was August 14, and the further schedule has not been confirmed. The subsequent stages include the release of the merit list, choice filling, seat allotment, and the seat acceptance process.
UP NEET UG Merit List 2026 will be important so that the candidates can get to their merit ranks and then proceed with the choice filling process. The admission authority has neither released the merit list nor confirmed a date. The merit list will be released in two stages, viz., provisional and final. Once the provisional merit list is declared, the window to file grievances will be provided. After reviewing the grievances and rectifying discrepancies (if any), the final merit list will be released.
The official dates are yet to be finalised, but as per the official state counselling timeline issued by MCC on August 19, the states can conduct the round 1 counselling by August 27. This includes the release of the merit list, choice filling and the seat allotment process. However, MCC might revise the dates again because the MCC NEET UG Round 1 seat allotment 2026 has been delayed. An official update on the exact dates can be expected soon. Meanwhile, students can keep all the required documents ready.
