CET Cell will release the Maharashtra DSE CAP Round 3 Result 2026 today, August 25. As per the official schedule, the selected students can complete the admission process on or before August 28. Candidates who opted for betterment in the CAP Round 2 are eligible for inclusion in the CAP Round 3 result. However, seat allocation is based solely on merit rank and vacant seats. For CAP 3, seat acceptance rules differ from the second round. In this round, students who get a seat as per the first six preferences in the option form must accept the seat and complete the seat acceptance process. 'Betterment/ Not Freeze' option will be available only if the allotment is done other than the first six preferences. Both allotted and betterment-opting candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee.
Maharashtra DSE CAP Round 4 process will begin from August 29 onwards, and the option form will be available from August 30 to September 1. In the last round, students will not have a betterment option, and whatever allotment is made through the CAP must be accepted. If students wish to withdraw from counselling and participate in institute-level counselling, they need not accept the CAP Round 3/4 seat.
