Maharashtra BSc Agriculture CAP Round 2 allotment 2026 is scheduled to be released today, August 23, after 5.30 pm, according to the official Centralised Admission Process schedule for Agriculture and Allied Undergraduate Degree programmes for the 2026-27 academic year. However, there has been a slight delay in announcing the allotment list, and candidates need to wait a little longer to download their allotments.
Official website to check Maharashtra BSC Agriculture CAP Round 2 allotment
Candidates who submitted their college preferences for the second round on August 20 and 21 can check the allotment through the official admission portal.
The CAP schedule specifies August 23 as the date for publication of the Second Round allotment list. Candidates allotted a seat in this round must report to the concerned college between August 24 and 26, from 9 am to 6 pm.
Candidates whose names appear in the allotment list should log in and download their provisional allotment letter. The prospectus states that candidates must report to the allotted college with the original documents for verification. The college confirms admission after checking the documents and entering them on the portal.
The prospectus also makes an important distinction between the first and subsequent rounds. The Freeze/Float option applies to the first admission allotment round. Float allows a candidate to accept the allotted seat while being considered for a higher-preference choice in the second round.
For candidates who had selected Float in Round 1 and receive another seat in Round 2, the prospectus says they do not have to repeat document verification or pay the seat acceptance fee at the college.
After Round 2 reporting, the college-wise and category-wise cutoff and vacancies for Round 3 will be displayed on August 27. Third-round preferences can then be submitted on August 27 and 28, with the Round 3 allotment scheduled for August 31 after 5.30 pm.
