The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the post-result facilities for students who appeared for the Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026. The process will allow students to check their evaluated answer books and, if required, seek verification of marks or re-evaluation.

According to the CBSE notice dated August 27, 2026, the process will be conducted entirely online. Students must first apply for a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book. Only after obtaining the scanned copy can they proceed with verification of marks and/or re-evaluation.

Important dates and fees

FacilityApplication datesFee
Scanned copy of evaluated answer bookAugust 31 to September 1, 2026Rs 100 per subject
Verification of marksSeptember 7 to 8, 2026Rs 100 per answer book
Re-evaluationSeptember 7 to 8, 2026Rs 100 per question

The schedule and fee details are specified in Annexure I of the CBSE notice. Students receiving their scanned answer books can examine whether all questions were evaluated, whether marks were correctly transferred and whether the totals shown in the answer book match the marks displayed on the result portal or DigiLocker. CBSE has also provided a checklist covering possible evaluation, totaling and mark-entry discrepancies.

For re-evaluation, students can challenge marks only for the theory portion, and the request will be considered for the full question rather than a part of it. The re-evaluation result will be uploaded on the CBSE website, and the Board has stated that its decision will be final and binding.

CBSE has advised students to follow the prescribed schedule carefully, as applications submitted after the deadline or through offline mode will not be accepted.
