Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, will close the NEET UG 2026 Round 1 online choice filling for MBBS and BDS admissions in Punjab soon. As per the latest notice issued by the university, eligible candidates can now submit their choices or preferences until August 23, 2026, up to 5 pm.
The choice filling extension was announced through a public notice dated August 19, 2026. BFUHS had earlier scheduled the first-round choice-filling process to close before the revised deadline. With the extension, candidates who have already registered for Punjab NEET UG counselling have additional time to review and finalise their college and course preferences.
BFUHS has specifically advised eligible candidates to complete the online choice filling for the first round on or before the new deadline. The university has also clarified that the remaining counselling schedule will be uploaded later on its website. This means candidates will have to wait for an official update on the Round 1 seat allotment and subsequent admission activities.
Since BFUHS has not yet announced the remaining Round 1 schedule in its latest extension notice, candidates should not rely on dates circulating on unofficial websites or social media. The university has asked students to regularly visit its website for further counselling updates.
