Are there any Potterheads in this world who never wanted to ride a broomstick? Imagine how awesome it would have been to navigate through jammed roads and broken lanes without the fear of getting anywhere late! And the best part, Quidditch will be an actual sport. (Well, it actually is. But we have don't have to tell everything to these muggles).

We got something interesting for you here — A group of five senior students from Georgia Tech has come up with a Flying Broom VR Simulator, that lets you sit on the broomstick and navigate through Quidditch hoops. The broomstick that has a cushioned seat is attached to the floor and is placed in front of a screen. The wizard (or witch) just has to sit on it wearing a VR viewer and move the broom, that lets them navigate through the skies of Hogwarts grounds. 

The final year Mechanical Engineering students, Rachel Harber, Tom Mezaros, Ayesha Asif, Austin Glass and Lance Lu worked with Fanaticus XR, an Atlanta start-up to come with this device. They built the device using 3D printers and laser cutters. "Our project links physical simulation with a virtual reality set up so the rider can have a new immersive experience," says the team members in the project's description.
