We lost him
The grave mistake of crossing over to Pakistan while farming resulted in equally grave consequences for Sarbjit Singh. Labelled an Indian spy and accused of playing a role in bomb attacks of 1990 which killed 14 people in Pakistan, he was convicted on May 2, 2013 and sentenced to jail. And one day, he was attacked with bricks by fellow prisoners which sent him straight into a coma from which he never ever came back. It was a very sad day for India as it had repeatedly appealed for his release.
