The doctors at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital have dismissed allegations about resident doctors being on strike or causing disruption anywhere in the state. The resident doctors claimed that they were fully satisfied by the arrangements made by the hospital authorities.

The doctors said, in an official video, that this was a critical time in the fight against the Coronavirus and that they were involved in continuous care. They stated that they had 'trivial issues' regarding the quarantine arrangements but they have been addressed, "There were trivial issues regarding the quarantine arrangements which were duly noted and addressed by the Dean and the Medical Superintendent in time."

"All resident doctors are fully satisfied by the steps taken by the hospital authorities. There is no disruption in any place. We as members of the medical fraternity are fully committed to serving citizens," they added.

The doctors also stressed upon the fact that any misinformation or exaggeration of issues is detrimental during this time, "During our duties we have to follow strict quarantine procedures to prevent spread to others. We have been following all the precautions and ensuring we serve the patients. During this time, it is wrong to spread any kind of misinformation."
