The Central Board of Secondary Education on Friday declared the results of the CBSE Class XII Compartment examinations. Of the 87,849 students who appeared for the examination, 52,211 (59.43 per cent) have passed. The exams were held between September 22 to 29.

The results were declared by the board in a record time of eight days. "Class XII compartment exam result has been announced, as planned by October 10 to enable students to apply for further studies in the current academic year. The result has been declared in a record time of eight days," reads a tweet by the CBSE. The students can also apply for a re-evaluation of their marks.

1) Open www.cbseresults.nic.in and select the link that reads 'Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) Results 2020-Compartment'

2) Enter the required credentials

Following a plea in the Supreme Court, seeking the cancellation of the examination, considering the rising number of COVID cases, the CBSE had informed the top court that the results will be declared by October 10. The University Grants Commission (UGC) had also said that its admission process will close by October 31, which shall give enough time for students to apply for admission in universities.
