IGNOU mobile application development programme to create employment opportunities

IGNOU has launched a Certificate Programme in Mobile Application Development (CMAD) with duration 6 months from July 2020 session. Students with +2 qualification or Matriculation with Diploma (2/3 years) can apply for the same, said IGNOU Koraput Regional Director B.Rajagopal in a release here today. There are enough employment opportunities for the learner's who completes the programme, Rajagopal said adding the programme is designed in such a way that it will provide in-depth knowledge to the learners about the mobile application. it will be quite helpful for the poor +2 pass-outs those who are residing in rural areas, he added.

IGNOU follows the credit system for all its programmes. Each credit amounts to 30 hours of study comprising all learning objectives. Thus, a four-credit course includes 120 study hours and an eight credit course includes 240 study hours. To successfully complete the Diploma programme, the student will have to earn 16 Credits over a period of 1 semester (minimum duration) and the maximum duration permissible by successfully passing all the prescribed courses.
