Principals of Government Arts and Science College asked to receive offline admission applications

Director of Collegiate Education has asked all the Principals of Government Arts and Science Colleges across the state and asked to fillup the UG seats by receiving offline Applications. C Poornachandran, Director of Collegiate Education has sent a letter to all Principals of Government Arts and Science College across the state on September 7 regarding the UG admissions.

In his letter, he stated that if the applicants are not eligible to admit the course what they applied means, Principals can transfer the application where the applicant can meet out the criteria of the course. Similarly, if the applicants are not eligible to participate in the first admission counselling for the shift I, then he/she can be asked to participate in the first counselling in shift II, he said.

He further stated that if the college has received less number of applications than the existing seats, Principals are asked to do the alternative initiative to fillup all the seats. Likewise, if necessary Principals are asked to receive offline Applications from the students where it necessary to fill up the remaining UG seats. It is mandatory for the admission committee to ensure the guidelines without any complaints, he added.
