Education Minister to host live interaction session with students, parents on CBSE exams

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will hold a live interaction with students and parents on Thursday noon, to discuss details of the upcoming CBSE board exams, and other competitive exams like JEE and NEET, he recently announced in a tweet.

Students can share their feedback via Twitter using #EducationMinisterGoesLive. On Friday, the education minister said that the competitive and board exams would be conducted in 2010-21 only after proper consultation with students, teachers and parents. A campaign is being launched forthe same."Dear students, I understand that 2020 hasn't been the best year foryou & you have been worried about your future. I will be meeting youlive on Dec 3 to discuss the upcoming competitive & board #exams.Share your concerns/suggestions with me using#EducationMinisterGoesLive," Pokhriyal wrote on Twitter.

Schools in India have been closed since March. Though the government gave the go-ahead to state governments to decide when to reopen schools from October 15 onwards, many states including Tamil Nadu have chosen to keep schools closed.
