CUSAT's School of Legal Studies to launch a tele-legal aid clinic for Keralites in the state and beyond

The School of Legal Studies (SLS), Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is all set to launch a ‘tele-legal aid clinic' initiative to provide legal advice to the public. This will bring the latest information technology to the masses.

It is Kerala's first tele-legal aid clinic to operate on a virtual interactive platform. The facility is being developed in collaboration with the Ernakulam District Legal Services Authority. “People within the state and even outside it can make video calls to the legal aid clinic at a specified time”, said a CUSAT spokesperson.

The device for the tele-legal aid clinic was donated by the School of Legal Studies alumni association. The facility is ready and the clinic will be operational soon, informed Vani Kesari, Director, SLS.
