Fake teacher, drawing salaries from two places found in Uttar Pradesh's Etah

Following the 'Anamika Shukla fraud,' the case of a teacher getting salaries from Auraiyya and Etah on a single PAN card in the primary school of the Basic Education Department has come to light here, Basic Shiksha Adhikari said on Friday.

BSA Sanjay Singh here said that Meena Devi, posted as the Principal at the Primary School, Kunwarpur in Jaithra Block since August 9, 2010, was drawing salaries from Auraiyya and Etah through a single PAN card.

The BSA said that the teacher's name, parents' name, roll number on educational documents and PAN card are the same and she was drawing salaries from two places. She was working in two districts and her name and address are the same. He said that she has been employed as Principal at the Primary School, Tejalpur in Vikas Khand Ajitmal of Auraiyya district since 2007.

The BSA has issued a show-cause notice and stopped the teacher's salary. The teacher was prima facie found to be fake during a probe. An FIR will be filed against the fake teacher and action will be initiated for salary recovery once the investigation is completed.
