Mid-day meal money will be sent to parents' bank accounts by June 30: UP govt

The mid-day meal money will be sent to the accounts of the parents through RTGS or NEFT by June 30 in this Uttar Pradesh district, official sources said on Thursday.

According to sources, Rs 5 crore, 15 lakhs, 17,000, 500 rupees will be sent to the parents of 1 lakh, 37,000, 380 students who study at the government schools, council schools, aided schools, madrassas and secondary schools at the rate of Rs 375 per student through RTGS or NEFT by June 30.

The Block Education Officers, Block Development Officers and Gram Education Committees have been given directions to complete this work within the time limit and it has been said that the money in the accounts of parents should be sent by June 30.
