Two students who appeared for KEAM exam test positive for COVID-19 in Kerala

Two students, who appeared for Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) Examination on July 16, have tested positive for COVID-19.

The students, who appeared the exam at centres in Thycaud and Karamana in the Capital City, have been diagnosed with the virus, sources said on Tuesday.

The lab reports of the two students hailing from Pozhiyoor and Karakulam came on Monday night. The student from Karakulam wrote the exam separately due to COVID symptoms.

But, the student from Pozhiyoor, showing no symptoms, wrote the exam with other students. Now, the authorities asked the other students to undergo quarantine to avoid further spread.
