Digital magazines of over 2000 Kerala schools to be published in School Wiki portal for public view

Little KITEs IT Clubs, the unique initiative by KITE (Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education) has created the Digital Magazines of over 2000 schools, which is now published in School Wiki portal for public view.

It is the first time ever in India that digital magazines are made available in a public domain in such a large scale, KITE CEO K Anvar Sadath said on Thursday.

The preparation of Digital Magazines is part of the Language Computing module in the Little KITEs programme.

In January, as a mark of respect to the Renowned Author Vaikomm Muhammed Basheer on his birth anniversary, the inauguration of School Magazines were organised in schools.

School Wiki made in a Wikipedia model, is the largest and most comprehensive educational repository among all regional languages in India with over 15000 schools in the State and it features the entire set of literary works of students from State Kalolsavam from 2017 onwards and Digital Magazines from 2019 onwards.
