Hyderabad school student donates sanitizers, face shields to Cyberabad CP

A girl student from Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet and pursuing fourth grade has donated 24 sanitizers, five face shields, 100 masks and an equal number of gloves to Cyberabad Commissioner of Police V C Sajjanar.

The girl student Akarshana Sathish along with her father Sathish Kumar on Thursday met Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad and has contributed the COVID relief materials for the welfare of frontline warriors police personnel, a police statement said here on Friday.

Akarshana earlier wrote a letter to Sajjanar on August 9 asking for an appointment to meet personally and donate COVID relief materials on her birthday on August 19.

In the letter, she also thanked the entire police personnel for their contribution and are working tirelessly 24/7 for the wellbeing of people during the pandemic situation.

Appreciating the kindness and generosity of Akarshana for coming forward to donate COVID relief materials which she bought from her piggy bank savings, Mr Sajjanar presented Seed Ganesha to her.
