This Kozhikode cancer survivor secured A plus in all subjects in class X boards

Fathima Shahana a student of Edarikod P K M Highschool, was in class 10 when she was diagnosed with blood cancer at the Kozhikode Medical College hospital. She was treated at the A VR Cancer Center, Chooloor for her condition where everyone persuaded her to give up studies for health reasons. The fighter with dreams of becoming a doctor, refused to give up on her studies, while everyone asked her to give up studies due to the possibility of infection. 

She wrote her SSLC exams while undergoing four sessions of Chemotherapy each week, not bowing to the pains and physical difficulties and secured A plus in all subjects for SSLC. Special arrangements were made to set up a bacteria-free library hall at her examination centre to facilitate her exam writing. She used to travel along with doctors and nurses in an ambulance to her examination centre. Her achievements were appreciated by political leaders from across the state. 

She is the daughter of Abdul Naser and Seleena. Fathima Shahana had returned home after successfully battling cancer. She had come in to meet local leaders of Kunnamangalam, where P TA Raheem, MLA received her with gifts.
