3 Belagavi students make it to state football team, national championship to be held in Arunachal Pradesh

Three budding women football players of Belagavi have been selected for the Karnataka state team fo rthe championships to be held in Arunachal Pradesh. About six women football players from Belagavi had participated in the selection process held by the Karnataka State Football Association in Ashok Nagar in Bengaluru recently.

Among these six, three have been selected in the state team while the other three have been selected as reserved players. Anjali Hindalagekar and Akshata Chougule of Lingaraj college, Belagavi and Priyanka Kangralkar studying at SDM college, Mangaluru (but all native of Belagavi) are now the state team. 

Aditi Jadhav, Umashri Chandilkar and Swaranjali Jadhav of Belagavi have been selected as reserved players for the team. These players will represent Karnataka seniors football team headed by Tanvi Hanch of Bengaluru in the Women's national football championship to be held in Arunachal Pradesh from September 10 to 16.
