The TISS-Hyderabad students have launched a hunger strike on campus until the administration addresses the students' concerns and the demand charter in a general body meeting. Further on in the day, the police also visited the campus and spoke to the students regarding the protest.

The students had a General Body Meeting today after the administration allegedly refused to give in writing the proposal they were making. "We asked the administration to hold a GBM and address the demand charter, which they again refused," the students said, The students accused the administration of not having come up with any resolution regarding the students' demands.

"While CN Reddy is ready to hold a meeting with us, our own administration does not want to address the students concerns," the students said.

Currently, eight students have decided to go on a hunger strike until the administration addresses the student concerns. "Since the administration has refused to talk to us, we've decided to go on a mass hunger strike," a student said.

The police also arrived at the campus and interacted with the students, "They patiently listened to us, didn't do anything else. The police said they would see what they could do on their part to help us," a protester said.
