Community college unit for Chemistry department launched at CPA college in Theni

The authority of CPA Arts college-Bodi launched Community college unit for Chemistry department at a cost of Rs.2.65 crore sanctioned by UGC, recently.

In which, S.V.Subramanian, Chairman to the college, presided over the inaugural function of Community college unit. He stated, five instruments have been established at the unit to conduct researches and a chemistry laboratory would also be set here. The students could utilise the opportunity to involve in research works, he added.

Karuppaiah, the vice-chairman of CPA arts college, Ramanathan, secretary to the college and Rajakumaran, principal of the college, were present at the function. Then, the students who secured prizes in the Muthamizh Saral Vizha held at Madurai were congratulated by the principal and chairman of the CPA Arts college. Sivakumar, Head to Computer science department, Pandy, professor in Maths department and other staff made an arrangement for the function.

A high number of students participated.
