Madurai students unable to download e-hall ticket even on exam day due to link failure

Students of non-autonomous colleges are facing problem while downloading their hall tickets. A few days back, Madurai Kamaraj University had introduced e-hall ticket for the first-year students. It was appreciable due to students can get their hall ticket from anywhere and they need not go to the respective college to get the hall ticket during their study holidays.

However, the particular server is not reachable most of the time. Due to this many of the first year students not able to get their hall ticket through on line. Venkatesan, a student of MKU non-autonomous college said that on Thursday examinations for the first-year students will commence, but, till now most of them have not been able to get their hall ticket.

He further said that he even visited the browsing centre more than 10 times to try to get the hall ticket and has spent more than Rs 200. He urged the MKU authorities to allow the students to write the end-semester examination if they do not have the hall ticket, he added.
