417 SSLC students to be felicitated for securing cent per cent results in Tulu

All 417 students who had opted for Tulu as an optional subject and had succeeded in securing cent per cent pass in SSLC examinations will be felicitated at Mahalingeshwara temple in Puttur by Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy (KTSA) on June 7.

KTSA President A C Bhandary in a press release stated that the academy had decided to organise felicitation programme in Puttur as most of the students who cleared Tulu language hailed from Puttur. As many as 35 schools in the previous academic year had introduced Tulu as an optional subject.

As many as 417 SSLC students from 22 schools had written Tulu paper during 2018 SSLC exams.
