Johanna Deeksha

The Aligarh Muslim University has been reeling under violence and protests for more than a week now. Hindu fundamentalist groups like the RSS have been claiming that Hindu students on campus are feeling unsafe and are frequently "harassed" on campus by the Muslim students and faculty. In response, a number of Hindu students have come together to vehemently deny these accusations.

The Hindu students on campus have been putting up Facebook statuses and have also put out a video speaking out about how safe they feel on campus. Many students have accused the RSS of fabricating stories of the students getting harassed on campus.
