VIT engg entrance exam counselling begins, second round to start on May 14

Admission counselling for the Vellore Institute of Technology began on Wednesday and will go on till May 11. This marks the first phase of the multi-city VITEEE18 counselling that is being held at VIT in Chennai, Vellore, Bhopal (MP) and Amaravathi (AP).

Students, who have secured up to 20,000 ranks, will be attending the first phase of the counselling.

Around 2.12 lakh students appeared for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination 2018 (VITEEE18) conducted at the all-India level from April 4 to April 15.

The second phase of counselling will be conducted from May 14 to May 18.

Sankar Viswanathan, vice-president, VIT Chennai campus, awarded the admission letters to the first few students.
