Demanding for the cancellation of Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for Physical Education Trainers (PET) which is to be held on June 19, around 60 candidates climbed on a Water tank near at NTR Statue in Ongole and 30 candidates climbed to a water tank in Avanigadda of Krishna district on Sunday. The candidates raised slogans against the conduct of TET following rumours of question paper leakage.

State HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao reacted on the issue of question paper leakage and to the protests of the candidates. Speaking over this, the Minister said, "There will be no chance for the leakage of the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for PETs. Candidates need not worry about the question paper leakage as the online centers will also get the question paper just few hours before the commencement of the exam. Candidates don't believe in the leakage and worry over this. The examination will be held on June 19 as announced earlier and there will be no change in the schedule."

Further, Srinivasa Rao ordered the commissioner, School Education department to suspend School games federation secretary, T Vamsi Krishna, who allegedly enrolled for the test as an aspirant, though he is a Physical Education teacher in a Government School. He lambasted on Vamsi Krishna for teaching in a private institution violating the Government service rules. Vamsi Krishna has been facing allegations on enrolling for the test to pass his student of the Private institution.
