V Murugesan becomes the new Vice Chancellor of Annamalai University

Governor Banwarilal Purohit has appointed V Murugesan as Vice-Chancellor of Annamalai University. Murugesan will hold the post for three years, a Raj Bhavan press release said.

Murugesan had taught at Anna University for 16 years and has administrative experience of almost 22 years.

He has guided 35 research scholars and presented 163 international research papers.

The release also said his long association with organisations connected with Tamil Nadu universities such as Board of Studies, Academic Council and Executive Council will help him discharge his duties as Vice-Chancellor.
