"Can Artificial Intelligence help us predict natural calamities? Can Artificial Intelligence help us detect serious health conditions before they manifest physically? Can Artificial Intelligence help our farmers/ make the right decisions regarding weather, crop & sowing cycle," he wanted to know.

Modi further asked whether the combination of teachers and AI help us bridge the gap in teacher-student ratio. "This will help us deliver quality education to every student across India. Can AI help take quality healthcare to every corner of India by expanding capacities of healthcare workers," he said.

"Our government is of the firm belief, that we can use this power of the twenty-first century technology to eradicate poverty and disease. In doing so we can bring prosperity to our poor and underprivileged sections," he said.
