Tamil Nadu Combined Civil Services prelim results are out, Mains to be held on Feb 23

Around 15,000 candidates have cleared the prelims and are now eligible for the written examination of the Tamil Nadu Combined Civil Services examination, popularly referred to as the Group II services examination. The exam will be held on February 23, 2019. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) released the results online on December 17.

The result has been released roll number wise. Candidates can check their result here. The TNPSC Group II Preliminary exam was conducted on November 11. Those who have cleared the examination are admitted provisionally to the Main Written Examination and have to pay Rs 150 (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) towards the examination fee (unless exemption of fee is claimed) and should upload the scanned copy of documents in support of the claims made in their online application from December 24, 2018 to January 10, 2019 in the e-seva centres run by TACTV.

List of designated e-seva centres is available in the website. The details regarding the documents to be uploaded will be made available in the Commission’s website and candidates will be informed of the above fact only through SMS and e-mail. Individual communication in this regard will NOT be sent to the candidates by post.

Their provisional admission to the Main Written Examination is based on the claims (viz., Date of Birth, Religion, Community, Gender, Educational Qualification, Technical Qualification, Ex-servicemen, Destitute Widow, Differently Abled and PSTM Status etc.,) made by them in their online II applications. Any false claim made by the candidates will be viewed seriously and penal action will be initiated by the Commission against them besides rejection of their application.
