The Tamilnadu Government has been forcefully conducting researches on the mosquito breeding, and fine to be imposed on schools that fail in proper sanitary measures. 

Collector Sandeep Nanduri instructed to slap a fine of Rs. 20,000 on a private school in Tirunelveli after he spotted Aedes mosquito larvae in water stored inside the school premises.
 
A press release from Tirunelveli district PRO office stated that the collector inspected work carried under mass cleaning, dengue eradication and awareness campaign at Sankar Nagar town panchayat on Friday morning. After inspecting the dengue eradication work conducted at houses, he went to a private school in the area. There Nanduri found larvae of dengue mosquitoes in fresh water at some places inside the premises.  
 
Taking action against the school for negligence in the dengue eradication works, he instructed town panchayat and health department officials to slap a fine of Rs. 20,000 on the school and send a notice to the educational institution to explain their stand.
