Degree student commits suicide after her friend refused to talk to her

A 22-year-old degree final year student committed suicide by consuming hair dye after her close woman friend allegedly refused to talk to her. The incident took place in Narayanaguda police limits.
The deceased is identified as Sridevi, resident of Filmnagar. She was pursuing degree final year in a private college in Narayanaguda.
According to police, Sridevi and her friend were classmates and they used to stay in the same hostel. However, they had an unnatural relationship. The women stayed in the same room for the past three years in Himayatnagar.
Recently, Sridevi's friend left for her residence. Sridevi allegedly called her to come to the city. As she refused to come to the city, Sridevi allegedly threatened her over the mobile phone. To write the final exams, the deceased friend came to the city and went to the same hostel room and stayed there.
Since then, the disputes took place between them. Yesterday, Sridevi allegedly had arguments with her friend. The woman friend approached the Narayanaguda police and lodged a complaint. Following the complaint, police interrogated Sridevi.

Sridevi visited the police station with another friend and allegedly promised police not to harass her friend. Minutes after the incident took place, Sridevi committed suicide by consuming hair dye and died. She was shifted to a nearby hospital by her friend and she was referred to another hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
