On September 4, the students of the College of Engineering Trivandrum elected Anjuradh TR as its Students' Union chairperson. Representing SFI, the panel led by her swept the polls, winning all but one seat. Now, this is definitely a historic win as Anjuradh has now become the 80-year-old college's first woman chairperson. She was the union's Women's Representative the previous year. She was also an active member of the group Azadi. 

In February 2019, the women hostellers of CET had led a movement to extend the hostel timing. At that time, while the men hostellers had to enter the hostel by 9.30 pm, the in time for the women was 6.30 pm. Representing the hostellers, Anjuradh was in its forefront. Upon the advice of Dr T K Anandi, State Gender Advisor, Government of Kerala, she and a few other students had stayed outside the hostel even after 6.30 pm, as a protest. A few days later, the Higher Education Secretary Dr Usha Titus had issued a notice, extending the curfew timing.

At that time, Anjuradh had said, "Ours is the only engineering college that has a relaxed curfew now. We are planning to expand the movement to other colleges in the state too."
