KCG College of Technology celebrates 15th graduation day

"Be proud of being Indians and having studied in India as we have excelled in all fields,” said chief guest Dr M P Poonia, Vice-Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education, while delivering the convocation address at the 15th Graduation Day of KCG College of Technology that was held on 5 August 2017. “Indian graduates who know how to communicate effectively and work in teams efficiently can be quite successful in life personally and professionally,” he added.

Highlighting the vision, activities and academic achievements of the college, Principal Dr G Prabhakaran, in his graduation report mentioned that “KCG College believes it is important to provide holistic education that focuses on raising not only skillful and quality engineers but also socially responsible citizens”.  He also added that the college had signed MoU with many top-ranked institutions, industries and research organizations to strengthen the teaching-learning process, update knowledge and skills, enhance student placement and take up industry and society relevant projects.

“Graduation is an important milestone in the lifelong journey of any graduate,” said Dr Elizabeth Verghese, Chairperson, Hindustan Group of Institutions, while delivering the presidential address. Dr Poonia presented medals to the rank holders and degree certificates to the graduating students. A total of 693 graduates received their degree certificates and the 49 university rank holders received medals and cash awards.
