Though the Behavioral Science online course developed by Sandra Sudheer Kumar is the first such course he is offering, the career counsellor, motivational speaker and psychologist who has delivered over 760 workshops is not apprehensive one bit because he is convinced that this is the need of the hour. "It is a strong personality that will help you conquer any challenge in your life and that is what this course aims to do, help shape the personality of the participant," says the 31-year-old who runs Sudheer Sandra Career Counselling Centre in Hyderabad. Launched on June 21, this is a self-paced course and a new video is released every alternate Sunday covering one of the 12 aspects that the Nellore-born youngster deems necessary. On the other Sundays, you will get fun activities, thought-provoking questions and so on. And that, dear readers, is what you will essentially get when you sign up for this course.

The very first aspect of the course is self-analysis, followed by anger management, work-life balance, personality traits and so on. Activities will require you to apply techniques like the Johari window (that helps you understand your relationship with yourself and others) and so on. "The intention behind designing this course was to help people find solutions to any problematic situation in their life," says Sudheer who pursued his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Amity University, Lucknow.

He has had over 1,450 sign-ups for the course

It took Sudheer eight months to design the course which caters to everyone from eight to 80 years old and is in Telugu. "I strongly believe that your entire life depends on your thoughts. So it is important that we work on it and this course will help you with it," says the psychologist who came to Hyderabad about 11 years back. He continues, "Even if you are the happiest person in the world, you can do with this course because it is bound to help you at some point," he says with assurance.

Other topics that will be covered:
- Stress management
- Social skills
- Moral ethics and values
- Phobias and mental blocks
