Here's why The Paper Glitter's Instagram-worthy customised gifts are super cool

Seema Rajpal

Next time for a friend's birthday, how about opting for a customised gift instead of purchasing perfumes, clothes or accessories? Imagine, how much more personal it truly will be. And if you are looking for people who could customise gifts for you, we recommend The Paper Glitter. Started back in April 2017 by three musketeers Akanksha Bhatia, Aaina Jain and Jharna Shivlani, the trio have enough experience and followers (17,400 plus) on their Instagram page to know exactly how to turn your brief into a gift that will woo your friends! What kind of gifts, you ask? From popup cubes, explosions boxes to wooden photo frames, they can do it all.

Friends for nine years now, Akanksha, Aaina and Jharna used to be the enthusiastic gift-makers among their circle of friends and they took it to the next level when they decided to start The Paper Glitter. "We were initially confused about how much to charge and if people will actually like it. But with the first order itself, we had such a positive response so much so that the person placed another two orders on the day of delivery," informs Akanksha who works as a Software Engineer with Danlaw Technologies India. The trio, who are all 23 years old, to date, make it a point to bounce ideas off each other for every order because it is important them to not just divide work equally, but also deliver something that truly makes the customer happy. "We always tell our customers that we are making the gift on behalf of you and then go ahead and make it with all the love," says the youngster who pursued her BTech from Guru Nanak Institute of Technology. And she feels that people recognise this effort and this is their USP. This has enabled them to win the hearts of customers across India and even those from the US and Canada, we are told. Next up, the girls want to come up with a website and eventually, even an app for Android users which will help their fame go beyond what it is today.

While Jharna works as a Software Engineer at Accenture and graduated from Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, Aaina works for the page and pursued her BCom from St Francis College for Women

Added to this, the girls donate all the earnings they receive from their orders to charity since the beginning and just for that, we think they deserve more orders.
