Fancy flying drones without burning a hole in your pocket? Check out this cool workshop in Kovai

Sruthi Venugopal

All of us have been fascinated with drones at some point in our lives. Well, the buzzing noise they make is alarming at times, but the top-angle view they provide is something remarkable. If you have always wanted to try your hand at its operation, then you should surely attend the two-day drone workshop on December 21 and 22 organised by The Profile Studios.

Partnering with the team SM Drones, a Coimbatore-based drone dealer, the workshop aims to teach the theoretical and practical operation of drones. "Theory classes are conducted on the first day. This includes a detailed session of the functions, process, features, dos and don't's while operating a drone," says Raj Kumar A, proprietor of The Profile Studios, who is organising the workshop.

On the second day of the workshop, each candidate will be allowed to operate a drone for fifteen minutes each. "When they attend the practical session after completing the theory classes, they would definitely have a better idea of the device, thus building their confidence in operating it," explains the 26-year-old.

If you are worried that the workshop might burn your pocket as we are nearing month-end, here is some good news. The registration fee is just  '499. "Many photographers desire to learn how drones can be used to get better quality images. Since drone workshops are expensive, they might lose their opportunity. To bridge this gap, we are organising this workshop at affordable rates," says Raj Kumar.

The workshop is open to all, and the participant will receive a certificate on completion. The venue of the workshop is Profile Studios, RS Puram, Coimbatore.
