As one of the world's leading certification programming platforms, Simplilearn has over one lakh learners across the world. The online training platform provides an array of courses for students and professionals alike. "It was initially started as a blog and I used to put out essays and videos about job opportunities and about courses that could shape the future of the job market. This was in the early 2000s, at a time when the internet was still evolving. Slowly, these materials started becoming popular among enthusiasts and they started to ask me for suggestions on certain subjects that they were interested in," says Krishna Kumar, Founder of Simplilearn.

Presently, with over 2000 trainers, the platform offers close to 500 courses on technical and management subjects. "All the trainers that work with us are practitioners in the field, consultants or entrepreneurs running small companies. It is only after rigorous test and analyses that they are selected," Krishna adds. Some of the courses that they offer include Big Data, AI, Machine Learning, DevOps, Cloud etc.

According to a recent study, it is estimated that 800 million jobs would be lost by 2030 just due to automation."Technologies like AI and ML are changing the workplace and it is hugely affecting how people do their jobs. It is to cope up with this rapid change and to turn themselves into productive employees that most of our clients sign up for our courses," Krishna adds.

All the premier institutes across the country are also signing up with the platform to make their students job-ready "Several colleges, including engineering and management colleges, have partnered with us to in order to provide technical skill to their students. This is provided along with their regular subjects so as to make them job ready," says Krishna.
